It all began with my own birth story.
Conceiving, carrying, and birthing my first child transformed me completely.
I learned a lot about the medical system and its attitude toward new mothers. I learned about doulas. I am passionate about birth, and my dream is to support as many mothers as I can through this tremendous experience. I want to hear your story that you bring with you to your birth, I want to be part of your new story that emerges as you become a mother - whether this is your first or your fourth. With each birth, we can find out more about who we really are if we surrender to the process.
As a doula, I bring almost two decades of experience supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and the tender weeks that follow. My approach is holistic — meaning I see you as a whole person, not just a body moving through a clinical process. Birth is physical, yes. It's also emotional, relational, and in many ways, identity-forming. You deserve support that honours all of it.
Whether you're preparing for your first birth, navigating a subsequent pregnancy after a hard experience, or still holding a birth story that never got the space it deserved — I'm here for that.
Women come to me wanting to feel safe, seen, and genuinely supported. That's what I show up to provide, every time.
Ready to talk? I'd love to hear where you are and how I can help.
Your story deserves a safe place to land.
About Shrintza Goldberg
Some births go the way we hope. And some don't.
I know this not just as a doula, but as a mother. One of my own births was deeply difficult — the kind that doesn't leave you, that quietly shapes how you feel about yourself, your body, and your child. For over a decade, I carried that experience. I tried different therapies, different approaches. Nothing quite reached it.
Then I found Birth Story Medicine.
What happened next changed everything — not just how I understood that birth, but my relationship with the daughter born from it. The distance I hadn't been able to name, let alone close, began to heal. That's the kind of shift I'm talking about: not just feeling better about the past, but experiencing something genuinely new in the present.
It's why I now offer Birth Story Medicine, as a certified Birth Story Medicine practitioner, alongside my doula work, and why I believe it belongs in every conversation about maternal wellbeing.
